Here is a direct quote from the bylaws.

 

The Board shall have discretionary power to prescribe the manner of maintaining and operating the Building within the limits of the annual operating budget and maintenance charges. Any expenditures made by the Corporation's officers or its agents under the direction or with the approval of the Board shall be deemed necessarily and properly made for such purpose.  (...not making this up are you...?)

Further:

The Board may adopt and amend such House Rules as it may deem necessary in respect to the Building for the health, safety, convenience and enjoyment of the shareholders. (no kidding...)

Copies of the House Rules and of any changes in them shall be furnished to each shareholder.

Thank you for your attention."

There is no such text in the Bylaws or House Rules.

This quote seems made up by the Board.

The Board has 3 days time due process from Sept. 24, 2023, to reply.

There are clauses in the Private Contract that apply to members of the Board:

​

4b. Refusal to answer = $4,500.

13a.Lying, false representation, misrepresentation by corporate officer= $12,500, per occurrence.

If the Board fails to reply, each member will be invoiced $4,500 + $12,500 = $17,000
